In line with the environmental legislation of Pakistan as well as World Bank (WB) Operational Policies, an Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF) for the project has been prepared to include environmental and social impact studies for the selected sites under Punjab Tourism for Economic Growth Project to mitigate any negative impact. The ESMF also defines environmental and social assessment procedures to be followed while preparing, appraising, and implementing the project.
